How to place an order:
The value of any one SOW may not exceed $10 million for any given DIR customer. In order to be awarded a purchase order hereunder, vendor(s) must respond, in writing, to a SOW for services as issued by customers (state agencies, governmententity), consistent with the terms and conditions of the DIR DBITS contract. Vendor(s) shall only respond to SOWs for technology categories which vendor(s) have been awarded in the DIR DBITS contract.
Prepare SOW
- Customer completes and signs the Statement of Work (SOW) using Appendix C template.

Share SOW with Vendors
- Customer sends the SOW to one or more approved DBITS vendors in the selected category.
- Customer sets response deadlines.

Select Vendor
- Customer reviews responses and chooses the vendor.

Issue Purchase Order
- Customer issues a PO including the DIR contract number.
- Vendor starts work only after receiving the PO.
Key Notes
- Services follow the Appendix C SOW template.
- SOW terms can be negotiated but must comply with DIR DBITS contract.
- Pricing and warranties are agreed between customer and vendor within the SOW framework.
